This small, recently established outfit focuses on energy law, property, environment and natural resources. It is heavily involved in work for Norway’s municipalities, and notably represents LVK, a hydropower generation interest group with a membership of 150 municipalities; it also advises LNVK, an interest group involved in the wind power sector, whose membership also consists of municipalities. The lawyers act for landowners and energy companies on a raft of other areas, including reorganisations and M&A, reversion, taxation, licence renewal and new constructions. Caroline Lund, a Supreme Court litigator with vast experience in the electricity sector, and Stein Erik Stinessen, who focuses on energy transactional work, formed the firm following their departure from Hjort at the end of 2007.
Energy: "Very clever guy" Stein Erik Stinessen is an extremly highly rated electricity law advocate who operates extensivily in work concerning the municipalities. Opponents concede that he always does an excellent job for his clients. Caroline Lund is a busy and highly proficient partner who is engaged in a large amount of work concerning the municipalities.
