Concessionary legislation

The most important statuary rules in favour of the local municipalities are stated in two old Acts from 1917; - the Industrial Licensing Act 14. December 1917 No. 16, and the Act relating to regulations of watercourses of 14. December 1917 No. 17.

The Acts states the Norwegian Licensing policy, term and conditions for hydropower production - as

Who can hold a licence,
the licensing period,
Reversion of concession
Concession power (compulsory power),
Concession fee (licence fee),
Buisness development fund
